Making a complaint
Last updated 18 October 2026
We want to hear from you if something has not gone as it should. Raising a concern will never affect the care you receive.
Tell us first
The quickest way to put things right is to speak to Dr Mariam directly. You can:
- phone +44 7462 679258
- email drmariamsamra@outlook.com
- message @dr.mariamsamra on Instagram
If you would rather put it in writing, email is best. Please include your name, how to reach you, what happened and what you would like us to do about it.
What happens next
We aim to acknowledge your complaint within three working days and to give you a full written reply within ten working days. If we need longer, we will tell you why and when to expect an answer. We will explain what we found, what we will do, and apologise where something went wrong.
If you were treated at a practice
If your treatment took place at a dental practice, including Bupa Dental Care Accrington, that practice has its own complaints procedure. Ask the practice for a copy, or raise it with them directly.
If you are still not satisfied
- Private dental care: the Dental Complaints Service is a free and independent service for private patients, run by the General Dental Council.
- NHS dental care: you can take your complaint to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman after the practice and the NHS have looked at it.
- Concerns about whether a dental professional is fit to practise: contact the General Dental Council, which regulates dentists in the UK.
Dr Mariam Samra is registered with the General Dental Council, registration number 290981. You can check this on the GDC register.
